Jay Oddleifson
As the former CFO of Mt. Washington Alpine Resort, Oddleifson was a key part of the team that developed a regional ski area into one of the premier resorts in British Columbia. In his spare time, as Chairman of the Comox Valley Folk Society, Jay has watched the society’s Vancouver Island Musicfest grow into one of the top 10 music festivals in Canada. While living in South Africa Jay was General Manager of one of the country’s top boutique wineries, getting his first taste of the liquor trade.
His next challenge? As managing director of Shelter Point, he is busy working with various levels of government on permits, architects on the building designs, and dealing with financing, investors and partners in the distillery.
